Future Candidate Medical Plan Preview Tool

The ability to offer personalized benefits to future candidates is a powerful resource in the recruitment process. Employer's can now provide candidates with a preview shopping link to view their ICHRA plan options before accepting a position.

Create a Candidate Shopping Link

You can quickly and easily create preview shoppings links for any prospective candidates. You will start by going to the 'Employee Management' tab. You will select the larger three dots at the top right hand of the page. From there you will select the 'Candidate medical plan previews' option.

On this page you will be able to manage existing links or create new ones. To create a new link you will select the blue 'New preview link' button at the top right corner of the page.

Here you will create a link for your future candidate. You want to create one link per candidate. Enter the information based on what position the future candidate would hold (the preview shopping will calculate the specific ICHRA contribution using your company contributions based on the class type selected).

Once the link is created, you can copy it by clicking the paper icon at the front of the link. Once you've copied the link you can send it to the future candidate so they can begin their preview shopping. 

If you need to extend the expiration date or delete the link entirely you can do so by selecting the three dots at the right side of the booking link you need to adjust.

Candidates should be aware that this information is for preview purposes only. They can view plan options but cannot make a plan selection at that time. They will need to complete their enrollment as usual once they have completed their employment process and waiting period.

Candidate Preview Shopping View

Once you've sent the preview shopping link the candidate will input some basic information to be able to preview their plan options. They are able to update the members quoted and rerun these options to view alternative coverage solutions.  The candidate will see their payroll costs for the plans available based on your defined employer ICHRA contribution.

Candidates are able to add dependents as needed for a more dynamic view of what their out of pocket cost may be.

Details entered by your potential candidate are never stored or viewable by you as the employer. 

Once they've added their general information they can preview the plan options. This preview shopping will provide future candidates the ability to see what types of plans are available to them and the potential cost to them.
