How do I know if my provider is in-network?

Finding in-network healthcare providers

AMBULANCE 02
You can locate network provider directories through online marketplaces as well as health insurance carriers. However, it is important to approach these directories with caution; ensuring their accuracy can be a challenge, as many contain outdated or incorrect information. We recommend contacting your provider’s office directly to confirm whether they accept your insurance. When you make the call, have the specific name of your health plan ready.

It is particularly crucial to mention that your plan is a marketplace plan, as some providers may not accept it.

Most health insurance carriers offer a “find your doctor” tool on their website, which can assist you in locating a doctor covered by your plan.

If you identify a provider you wish to consult, remember to call their office and provide the name of your health plan to verify whether the provider accepts your insurance.

If they do, inquire if the provider is currently accepting new patients before scheduling your appointment.
