To help you shop for the best plan, we encourage you to add your preferred healthcare providers to your benefitbay® profile.
Step 3 of your ICHRA enrollment is to complete your benefitbay® profile by adding providers and facilities that matter most to you and the ones you love. Click the blue "Yes, add my provider" to continue.
Utilize the provider search by entering a provider's name, a facility name, or the specialty type you are interested in adding. The zip code will automatically populate with the same as your home address. After entering the information, click the blue "Search" button.
It is important to verify the address of your provider or facility. Providers may offer care from various locations. The location of your provider may impact which plans are In-Network for you. Once you verify the location of your choice, select the (+) symbol to add the provider.
You will then have the opportunity to assign the provider as a primary care provider. Many carriers require a primary care provider to be listed on your enrollment application.
If you have family members added, you will select which family member is the primary care provider. After selecting the right family member, click the blue "Continue" button.
You can now add other providers or facilities for each family member until all preferred providers are added, by clicking the white "Add another provider." Once you complete this step, click the blue "Done" button.
IMPORTANT CAUTION: If you have a provider that is important to you or a loved one, we advise you to verify directly with the provider that they do accept the insurance plan you are interested in before completing the enrollment. Providers and carriers can change contracts often and may have not provided up-to-date information. For best practice, we highly encourage you to double-check with the provider.
CONGRATULATIONS! You have completed the third step of verifying and completing your benefitbay® profile. You are ready to shop for a personalized plan!
