Overview of Employer Access

The benefitbay® employer section is a management tool that monitors, analyzes, and gives employers a visual display of key indicators such as enrollment periods, employee management/coverage periods, and finance information.

 

Left Navigation Bar

The navigation bar on the left has several tabs to display different information for your company. In addition, below your company, you will be able to access your employee access (for your personal information) as well. You will see the left navigation bar on all pages.


User Roles

Your view of Employer features will depend on your User Role

  • Admin: Full access to all system areas detailed in this article.
  • Signer: Access to Setup tab, during company onboarding and renewal, and signing functionality only.
  • Human Resources: Access to the Employee Management tab, and select reports in the Reports tab.
  • Finance: Access to the Banking tab, and select report in the Reports tab. 
  • Enrollment Support: Access to Employee Management tab, but with limited employee coverage information.  

Enrollment Periods

The enrollment periods will show you every current enrollment open for your company. 

If your company has any enrollments open, the reports and banking page will not update until the enrollments are closed. 


Employee Management

The employee management section will allow you to add or terminate employees. In addition, you can see different data points on your employee population. 


Banking

The Banking page will display several financial reports available for your company. In addition, the bottom section has an overview of the funding summary for the company ARC Account.

Please note: The funding summary can change daily depending on your company's enrollments and employee population.


Reports

This page has all the reports you need to administer your company's ICHRA!

Documents

This section stores your company's signed Contract, ICHRA Agreement and the current year's ICHRA Plan Document. 


Profile

This section has information specific to your company's business set-up. If you notice any changes that need to be made, please make the appropriate edits, or contact your agent and Customer Success Manager. 


Contacts

Use this page to manage your company's business contacts. There are multiple types of business contacts. The User Roles tab describes each type of contact.

Please note: If an employee has employer access and they are terminated, they should be removed from the business contact list as well. 


Locations

This page will allow you to manage different locations for your organization. If you do have multiple locations and utilize this feature, you can filter reports and resources by location. This is a great tool to determine cost per location, etc.
